Sir Richard Boyer, K.B.E., cr. 1956, was born August 24 1891 at Taree, N.S.W. He took his M.A. from the University of Sydney, 1913. From 1945 to 1961 he was chairman of the Australian Broadcasting Commission. From 1920 he had a property outside Charleville, and he was president of United Grazier's Association, 1941-1943. He attended various overseas conferences and was Honorary Director of the American Division of the Commonwealth Dept. of Information 1941-1945. He died June 1961. Fr...
